The Carbon Costs Coalition, an initiative by legislators in nine states (CT, MA, MD, NH, NY, OR, RI, VT, and WA) is leading a state-based, regional movement in support of reducing carbon emissions by putting a price on carbon. Each legislator has introduced or is drafting a proposal that is unique to their local economy. This regional approach eliminates any concerns about competitive disadvantage and shows the momentum around climate action in the states.

As a supporter of this coalition, you will have the opportunity to lead on climate action in your state by authoring op-eds, providing testimony at hearings, and supporting your state legislators who are working to put a price on carbon.
