Kate is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama, where she earned a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.S. in Conservation Ecology. She has five years of interdisciplinary research experience and is skilled in spatiotemporal analysis. Her research interests lie at the intersection of sustainable livelihoods and equitable, ethical conservation efforts. Kate is beginning a PhD in the ICON program at the University of Georgia in the Fall of 2022, where she will study indigenous land management and community-led conservation efforts.
Devika Rao is newly graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Environment and Sustainability. She is passionate about variety of environmental issues, with special focus on climate change and energy. She is particularly interested in engaging with environmental issues through the lens of public policy.
Chelsea Red-Horse Mohl serves BCCA as their Indigenous Business Outreach Coordinator. She is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and is from Huntington Beach, California. She graduated from Stanford University in 2021 with a B.A. degree in Journalism and Media Studies. She was a student-athlete on the varsity beach volleyball team all four years. When not working in the non-profit space, Chelsea enjoys serving her community and grabbing a cup of coffee.
Thulasi Sivalingam is the Manager of Programming and Events at ASBN, where she works on webinars, conferences, summits, and more. Social impact has been the focus of her education and all of her work experience. Thulasi created a Corporate Social Responsibility major at New York University, minoring in Social Entrepreneurship.
