Urge Congress to Invest in Regenerative and Just Agriculture in the Infrastructure Package

Congress is currently negotiating a legislative package that will invest in the nation’s infrastructure to create jobs and help advance a just transition to a sustainable 21st-century economy. The plan for this infrastructure package, laid out in the Biden Administration’s American Jobs Plan, is ambitious but has only limited funding for agriculture and food systems. That’s why ASBC’s Regenerative Agriculture and Justice Working Group developed this memo urging Congress to include funding for a variety of programs that will facilitate the group’s goals.
