MaryAnne Howland is a business leader and advisor who serves a portfolio of clients in pursuit of transformation from corporate social responsibility to corporate social significance. Through her global network, she uses movement platforms to fan the mission of justice equity, dignity, inclusion (JEDI) and sustainability. They include her own enterprises, Ibis Communications, a branding and marketing solutions firm; Global Diversity Leadership Exchange, a forum for senior level executives on the front lines of driving global growth at the intersection of inclusion and sustainability; and THIS!, runway fashion for people with disabilities.
MaryAnne is past co-chair of the board of the American Sustainable Business Council and has helped lead its work through the Race and Equity Working Group. She serves on the advisory board for American Promise and is co-founder of J.E.D.I. Collaborative, supporting systemic change in the natural products industry.
MaryAnne is the author of Warrior Rising: How Four Men Helped a Boy on His Journey to Manhood, an eye-opening look at one mother’s determination to provide positive role models for her son, and the power of great mentoring to change lives.
MaryAnne has a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and is a Diversity Fellow at Harvard University Business School.
