Kristin Kelleher
Programs Director, Climate Action Business Association

Profile

Kelleher was impelled to enter the environmental field by watching the impact of sea level rise on her hometown, and further developed her commitment to environmental policy while working as a legislative aide in the Massachusetts State House. As programs director for Climate Action Business Association (CABA), which recently merged with nonprofit Climate XChange, Kelleher develops strong, reliable communication channels with CABA’s member businesses, climate-vulnerable communities, and key stakeholders in the legislature. She helps member firms take targeted action on climate change, providing them with resources and tools to improve sustainability within their companies, participate in policy advocacy, build a community of shared values, and become sustainable and resilient.

Kelleher has given presentations on climate mitigation and adaptation for the Sustainable Business Network Conference, the New England B Corp Conference, Chambers of Commerce, and the Massachusetts State House Coastal Caucus. She serves on the steering committee for the Updated Climate Change and Sea Level Rise Projections for Metro Boston Project, and on the working group of the Registry Project for the American Society of Adaptation Professionals. She is also an agenda setter for the Climigration Network. Kelleher holds a B.A. from George Washington University and an M.A. in Environment, Politics and Globalization from King’s College, London.
