Maritza T. Adonis Joins ASBN as EVP, Policy, Advocacy, & Government Affairs

Washington, DC – The American Sustainable Business Network (ASBN) today is pleased to announce that Maritza T. Adonis is joining the organization effective March 14 as EVP, Policy, Advocacy, & Government Affairs.  Maritza is a government affairs and CSR executive, economic and social justice advocate, diplomacy, diversity, and political thought leader, and international arbitration professional. Maritza brings over 15 years of experience planning and leading local, state, federal, and international comprehensive advocacy programs, liaising with community, corporate, and government stakeholders, the US Congress, executive branch agencies, and The White House on behalf of international nonprofits, corporations, trade associations, and educational institutions.  

Prior to ASBN, she served as Director of Political and Government Relations for a global nonprofit; consulted as senior policy and political strategist for several trade organizations, worked as a legislative fellow on Capitol Hill, and resolved international and commercial investment disputes at an international business law firm. Maritza also developed and implemented comprehensive domestic and global government affairs strategies for public and private stakeholders and advised corporations on employee resource group optimization, diversification of philanthropy, and shareholder engagement on ESG performance as Founder and CEO of MTA Visions Global CSR & Gov’t Relations based in Washington D.C.
